Sunday ABC local 7th December . Some news services are so predictable and missable . So Bob Browns in the news again ( ho hum) , talking about something overseas again -- far enough away to keep the facts and other green bandwaggoners at bay?. At least its his own backyard this time . Great that Latham is interested - maybe he would like to see mainland old growth forests as well?

Its just a cooincidence of course that we invited everyone to tour our territory last weekend and got nil publicity from the ABC , as far as we were aware. Credit where credit is due would be nice , but even better a bit of publicity for months of hard work to give people a genuine chance to understand the complexity of the environment and issues outside of their own backyard - . We are not aware of ABC giving us one crumb of publicity on our invite to the city to see what the city wants to do with the Otways .( big news last election in November ) Do rural community groups have to fund their "reporting" now to get a fair hearing. Go out doorknocking and advertising when they are busy with their backsides in the air and their pockets empty ? Obviously many in the media are convinced lockups are a very good thing for the country and the greens really know what they are talking about . We'll all see won't we ?-----what on the TV ?
Backchat.. Where's that "barra come bandwagon" prize going this year ?To the plagarist extrordinaire? I can think of one.
Maybe you need another prize too - to the person most overly reported and the Australian story not told when it really mattered . to ABC listeners who find they get a decent hearing elsewhere !
